The world is a battleground,
a dizzying pace we set for ourselves.
Goals to achieve,People to impress
Duties to perform,obligations to fulfill,
Errands to run,Social calls to make
from morning till night,
.and..
some time for ourselves.
These give meaning to Life,
the purpose of being
But is it?
We escape to our "inner sanctuaries"
bearing the chaos from the outside.
Then wonder why the inner
sanctum feels just as crowded.
Ah! there is no escape,
not till we recognize the
battleground is not outside
but within ourselves.
